Why We Built This Site
Indiana permits broad access to many court records, yet access depends on knowing what is being sought. MyCase supplies a public index and Chronological Case Summary. The Floyd County Clerk maintains the official local files, while Circuit and Superior court staff control hearings and current calendars. Some documents remain offline or restricted. The site's purpose is to connect those separate paths with clear search fields, court codes, copy steps, and official contact information.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read in Floyd County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no affiliation to an Indiana court, the Floyd County Clerk, or a government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
An official or certified docket or court record must come from the Floyd County Clerk or the court that holds the file. This site can identify that office but cannot issue the record.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes shown on some pages. They control their own results, fees, privacy practices, and subscriptions. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment that supports the site's operation. Their output is not an official Floyd County record and should be checked against the originating court or Clerk.
